Quinn Sciarra is a recent graduate of the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where she received a Bachelors of Music Education in Instrumental Band. She spent the spring of 2025 teaching band at New Palestine High School in New Palestine, Indiana.
Quinn has experience working as a marching band technician, providing visual and musical instruction. She's also taught private lessons to oboe, saxophone, and flute students. In addition to playing the oboe, Quinn spent two fall semesters playing trombone in the IU Marching Hundred.
Quinn's primary oboe professor at IU was Roger Roe, English Horn and Assistant Principal Oboe in the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. While at IU, Quinn was Principal Oboe in the IU Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Ensemble. She also spent a semester playing Second Oboe in the IU Concert Orchestra.
Quinn is from Evanston, Illinois, and when she's not making music, she's swimming, painting, or hanging out with family.
